Curriculum Vitae

Catherine Alfieri is a native of Rochester, New York. She graduated from Our Lady of Mercy High School, Nazareth College of Rochester and the University of Rochester. She was employed for 26 years by the Pittsford Central School District in Pittsford, NY. She took a disability retirement due to sight loss and currently has founded the Monroe County Women's Disability Network, writes in print and for websites, and is an advocate for disability causes. She serves on the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (ABVI-Goodwill) consumer affairs committee.

Catherine's interests include working on her computers, listening to books on tape, music, taking courses, but most of all being with family and friends and meeting new people. She continues to serve on the Pittsford Central School district's technology committee and other district committees. She currently resides in Pittsford, NY.
