Aesop's Fables - For the Adults

This site is set up to introduce students to some of Aesop's classic fables and to strengthen literacy skills. Each fable reviews potentially difficult vocabulary, presents a fable with a multiple choice quiz to check for comprehension and several questions for discussion or that can be used for open ended journal writing. The multiple choice quiz is untimed and the final score appears after the student answers the last question of the quiz.

There is also a page of general activities to use with the fables and a glossary of the vocabulary terms from the fables. The pages are also designed so that they can be printed off as well as used online.
