Toothless Mammals

The sloth, armadillo and and anteater are part of this group. They have no teeth in the front and therefore, appear toothless.

The sloth looks like a bear and moves very slowly. It hangs upside down in trees. Since algae grow on them, they sometimes look green!

The armadillo is covered with large scales that overlap. It eats insects. Its children are usually multiple births as either identical twins or triplets.
